Real Estate Paralegal

Benefits & Perks:Competitive salary ($75k-$85k)100% paid benefits,Matching RRSP PlanFitness reimbursementFull time in officeResponsibilities:Manage residential and commercial real estate files from initiation to closing.Process purchase transactions, including preparing mortgages, refinancing, and other supplemental documents, as well as interim and final reports.Prepare statements of adjustments and ensure timely reporting to mortgagees and purchasers.Handle sale transactions by preparing trust letters, managing deposit funds, and coordinating closing dates.Maintain and organize client files, ensuring critical deadlines are diarized and met while preparing client accounts and correspondence.Utilize conveyancing software to manage correspondence and documentation related to real estate files.Serve as a liaison with realtors, financial institutions, clients, and other law firms to facilitate all aspects of real estate transactions.Foster and maintain positive relationships with clients, bankers, realtors, and other key stakeholders involved in transactions.Schedule client appointments and manage related administrative tasks.Qualifications:Post-secondary diploma or certificate from an accredited paralegal/legal assistant program (successful career history will be considered)Experience in residential and commercial real estate is preferred however we are prepared to train a qualified candidate if missing one of theseSelf-motivated and proactive, with a strong commitment to teamwork and independence.Positive attitude with sound judgment and decision-making skills.Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organization.Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and document management systems.Maintains professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.Strong interpersonal skills, able to interact confidently
