Real Estate Service Management Project Manager
We are seeking a Project Manager who is motivated by variety, is seeking a challenging environment for professional growth, and is interested in supporting large information technology projects for one of our clients, who is located in Seattle.
This position requires a strong leader who:
+ Is a professional who inspires trust and enthusiasm
+ Has on-premise solution experience
+ Excels in building strong relationships with key stakeholders and can navigate a matrixed reporting structure
+ Has strong vendor management skills, including the ability to hold vendor and subsidiaries to scope, schedule and budget requirements
+ Can think critically using strong analytical skills
+ Has expert-level skill and experience in managing SaaS solution projects from initiation, planning, requirement, design, execution to deployment and closeout
+ Understands formal change management programs and models
Location: This position is located in Seattle, WA. Candidates in the area are preferred, but not necessary. Occasional travel may be required if not local.
Responsibilities:
+ Collaborate with the product owner to address business challenges, analyze gaps, and propose improvement opportunities.
+ Partner with vendors to develop solutions, including cloud migration and gap resolution.
+ Lead teams in implementing enhanced budget management solutions.
+ Establish shared project vision and strategies, aligning with multiple stakeholders.
+ Define goals, objectives, and key metrics for monitoring business and tech outcomes.
+ Coordinate with vendors and resources to create and execute integrated program plans.
+ Foster high-performing team cultures to achieve business and tech-driven results.
+ Oversee business process management, change management, and integration with technology across workstreams.
+ Ensure successful project delivery that meets business needs and requirements.
+ Apply project management practices, including detailed planning, risk management, and budget oversight.
+ Monitor execution, track earned value, and report on project status and performance.
+ Develop operational support plans, governance frameworks, and business processes pre-implementation.
+ Ensure compliance with PMO methodologies and organizational governance.
+ Facilitate solution architecture designs, stakeholder alignment, and approvals.
+ Conduct program closeouts, lessons learned, post-implementation reviews, and handovers to operations.
+ Follow client-specific governance, stage gates, and production launch requirements.
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ 7+ years of experience providing expert level technology program/project management on highly complex projects (complexity is reflected in the size of the project, cost of the project, size of project team, depth and breadth of project manager role and responsibility, span of project impact, i.e. enterprise-wide, multi-departmental, or having a major market or external impact)
+ Utility real estate management experience required
+ Experience in these areas:
+ Managing a team of professionals to include IT Professionals, and Business Analysts
+ Developing and deploying project best practices from planning through project closeout
+ Managing projects using various Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC)
+ Utilizing formal change control and change management programs/models
+ Excellent written and oral communications skills and the ability to communicate effectively with executives, business teams, technical teams, and external agencies
+ Skilled in influencing stakeholders and driving decisions to closure; adept at moving executive and senior management to action
+ Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
+ Process oriented with strong attention to detail
+ Demonstrated experience in Organizational Change Management, Organization Development, or Process Improvement
Desired Qualifications:
+ BA/Master’s in Management of Information Systems, Systems Development, or Project Management (or related field)
+ PMP or equivalent
+ 10 + years of experience providing expert level program/project management on highly complex projects (complexity is reflected in the size of the project, cost of the project, size of project team, depth and breadth of project manager role and responsibility, span of project impact, i.e. enterprise-wide, multi-departmental, or having a major market or external impact)
