In the role of Real Estate Services Specialist, we'll count on you to:Provide pre-negotiation project, parcel and property owner due diligence and non-complex negotiations for acquisitionof rights relative to public or private projects as assignedReview appraisals andresearch comparable properties, prepare Market Analysis and Waiver Valuations following the Federal and State guidelines as applicableVerify ownershipand theextent of interests; prepare offer packages; and maintain complete and detailed records/files with owner contacts, agency representatives, project teamPrepare non-survey quality maps,drawings, exhibits and detailed progress reports to provide to owners and clients to aid in the Agent’s negotiationsCommunicate effectively with internal and external clientsDemonstrate strong time management and organizational skillsExperience with federal, state and local agencies, private industry and landowners to facilitate theacquisition of necessary right of way for public projectsKnowledgeablein title research and utility acquisition practices for permanent and temporaryeasementsBe proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Experienced with relational databases and agreement documentationConduct research and navigate the InternetRead, review and quality check engineering project plansand legal descriptionsDraftvarious types of real estate documents, such as but not limited to deeds, easements, leases, and purchase agreementsBe available for travel (in state and out of state) as neededPreferred QualificationsA minimum of 5 years experience with public agency acquisitions

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degreeProficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel and ProjectARGUS and ECONPAK software a plusAbility to write legal descriptionsHave the knowledge to draft the following types of real estate documents: deed, easement and leaseMust have experience and procedure using purchase property as an eminent domain purchaseAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
