Real Estate Support Specialist

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Vice President – Real Estate Operations, the Specialist - Real Estate Support is a valuable team member focused on the submission and approval of capital projects for the Outpatient Medical segment (OM) of Healthpeak’s property portfolio. Duties include but are not limited to:
+ Compile and submit the paperwork for capital projects to the Capital Asset Management team.
+ Review and analyze invoices related to capital and tenant improvement projects
+ Maintain and manage design costs
+ Assist in tracking and reporting costs related to capital and tenant improvement projects
+ Perform monthly activities relating to financial close
+ Maintain, organize, and update document database(s) as needed
+ Prepare required and/or necessary notices or documents to property managers or other company employees
+ Preparation of detailed reports to be submitted in a timely manner to relevant company employees upon request
+ Answer calls and emails from all internal and external clients in a timely and positive manner
+ Assist Real Estate Support team with special project assignments
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferred but not required
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
+ Experience with Yardi a plus
+ Experience in Multi-entity/multi-facility environment
+ Familiar with real estate, construction, or a related industry a plus
+ Detail-oriented with strong written and oral communication skills
+ Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
+ Ability to work some overtime
+ Team and goal-oriented with a curiosity to learn and develop new skills
