As a Product Manager in Real Time Payments, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.   Offering 24/7 availability combined with never-before-seen speed and transparency, real-time payments are at the forefront of a digital payments revolution in the U.S. JP Morgan Chase has established a leadership position in building out the nation’s first instant payments system, US Real-Time Payments (RTP). We are working to expand our real-time payments channel enablement, commercialization, and grow the product in collaboration with the FedNow Service and The Clearing House. Job responsibilities Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability Contributes as a key player and navigator to the development, implementation, and coordination of real-time payments product initiatives, programs, and strategic roadmap  Develops strong partnerships with cross functional teams and stakeholders across the organization and the globe including product, technology, operations, legal, risk, compliance and audit Owns the end to end execution of projects and priorities according to plan, while solving problems and issues that arise  Engages internal and external partners/clients in order to fully understand the needs and priorities of the industry, clients, and the firm Leads conversations with Sales and Product Sales Specialists to develop commercialization strategy and manage the pipeline of prospective clients for both RTP and Request for Payment (RfP) Plans and execute communications/campaigns working with Change Readiness, Ready-to-Launch, and other Line of Business partners Represents JP Morgan in RTP industry events; Enable additional channels for RTP Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field Advanced knowledge of the product management life cycle, design, and data analytics Advanced understanding of real-time payments systems, Request for Payment (RfP), and the broader payments landscape Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements related to payments Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels Experience in developing and executing communication strategies and campaigns Demonstrates high attention to detail, and exemplary quality, thoroughness and completeness of work product Proven ability to build strong, cohesive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, working effectively in a matrix organization Advanced organization skills, ability to thrive in a dynamic environment handling multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders (in different markets/ time zones) Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills An advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate and resolve issues effectively Vast understanding of industry trends, client needs, and competitive landscape Experience leading conversations and collaborating with sales teams to develop commercialization strategies
