We are looking for a Real World Evidence & Outcome Research Strategy Lead  who is creative, innovative and collaborative to join our RWE Immunology team, based in our offices in Brussels, Belgium, Slough, UK or Monheim, Germany.

 

About the role

You will be a trusted and integrated leader that shapes & develops robust real-world evidence-based outcome research to facilitate market access strategies. You will create a fit-for-purpose outcome research strategy, based on local, regional and global market access needs, in close alignment with key Asset stakeholder and the RWE Therapeutic area strategy leads.  You’ll lead the development of Data/Registry strategies to serve market access purposes and guides the design, development and implementation of outcome research projects based on RWE methodologies, which address the prioritized research questions.   

 

Who you’ll work with

The RWE Immunology team is responsible for developing compelling evidence demonstrating the clinical, humanistic, and economic value of UCB’s medicines to payers, prescribers, patients, and aligned healthcare decision makers, serving regulatory, medical and market access purposes. 

 

What you’ll do

Create a strategic outcome research plan to confirm and show the value of Bimekizumab, as a basis for and supporting market access activities on global, regional and local basis.Gap analysis and data strategy related to unmet needs and opportunities to improve standard of care, economic value, drug utilization, cost-effectiveness and comparative effectiveness including long term and patient centric outcomes.Execution and support of execution of solis outcome research studies on time and to budget; including identifying required resources, meeting scientific quality expectations and governance requirements.Cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless ways of working on Asset sub-teams; Payer HE&OR sub-team; Patient Impact regional and local teams related to market access evidence needs.Cultivate and maintain relationships with key external experts, influencers and customer segments to foster and maintain UCB’s credibility in RWE quality and relevance.

 

Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills

Educated at least to MD, PharmD or graduate level in epidemiology or life sciences.Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and executing Outcome researchUnderstanding market access thinking and being able to translate market access needs into solid research questionsExperience successfully conceptualizing and delivering RWE and in particular Outcome research projects using primary or secondary dataTrack record of project leadership in pharma or CRO setting
