The Purpose of this Position: Produce rebar shop drawings to facilitate field placement. Coordinate material orders with the customer and generate bar lists to accommodate warehouse fabrication. Apply bid dollars to sales orders, manage change orders and billing schedules with administrative personnel.
Major Duties:Utilize Computer Assisted Design software (CAD) to render rebar shop drawings from engineered construction drawings. Generate appropriate material lists to meet customer’s expectation and communicate project needs for the fabrication warehouse.Respond to field requests for detailing direction, construction review, and design changes in a manner that will enhance customer satisfaction.Initiate phone calls to customers and clients regarding construction schedules, detailing requests and general project status.Maintain relevant project files tracking key project components to include; shipping status, percent billed, and general organization. Communicate with administrative personnel to assure proper billing schedules.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required. (Strong math & analytical skills)Knowledge of (CAD) and exposure to all phases of processes.The ability to work autonomously and in a team.Strong written and verbal communication skills for both internal and external customers.Problem analysis and problem resolution skills.College degree and previous detailing experience preferred.
Pay Range: $20.00 - $30.00 hourly DOE
