Join us as we look to hire 2 Rebate Analysts II located in Exton, PA.  As the Rebate Analyst II, you will perform calculations and generate payments in compliance with executed reimbursement Agreements. Function as a rebate data subject matter expert performing data mapping and validation, verification of contract compliance, master data and contract maintenance, and rebate processing. Responsible for identifying, analyzing, and solving data problems related to contract management systems and tools. Facilitate responses to non-routine situations and events.

How you will contribute:

Understand contracting strategies and maintain current knowledge supporting data structures, business processes, and documentation for assigned accounts; assist with any decisions and changes required to adapt to business needs. Maintain a good working relationship with Account counterparts to ensure a timely flow of information, resolve data issues, discuss utilization and payment variances, and other research as needed.

Performs all data and process controls. Exercise good judgement within generally defined practices and procedures, present issues and discuss solutions in a group setting, facilitate process improvements and initiatives, maintain associated documentation.

Analyze invoice and payment data to itemize and explain payment differences, and to facilitate compliance and contract performance reviews. Provide performance reports to account management teams and communicate any items of concern, such as unexplained variances or possible disputes over contract language or discount calculations. Provide data, analysis, and support as needed for cross-functional activities such as forecasting and planning or contract renewal decisions.

On a monthly basis, reconcile monthly transactional data submitted by multiple Commercial, and/or Part D entities by independent analysis of rebate data, independent determination of formulary status, and independent interpretation of contract language. Compares their analysis with the invoices submitted by the entities, investigates discrepancies, and documents the variances. Is responsible for communicating the variances and negotiating dispute resolution with the appropriate external customers for each individualized contract.

Ensures the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of all monthly/quarterly rebate payments for all Commercial and Medicare Part D contracted customers. This thorough process includes the interpretation and translation of contract language, ensuring PDL formulary/benefit compliance, calculation and validation of rebate payments, including in-depth data analysis and adherence to all audit requirements and any/all reporting regulations as defined within Takeda's policies and guidelines related to rebate processing.

Provides financial/business analytical support by identifying anomalies and trends to ensure contract compliance and rebate payment accuracy to the Planning & Analysis, Government, Finance, Contracts and Pricing and Managed Markets teams.

Investigates and proposes solutions for contract set-up for individualized complicated contract language, which may differ from usual methodology.

Works with Senior Analyst(s) in support of all Commercial and Medicare Part D internal/external audits by preparing and providing the necessary documentation to Takeda's Compliance Office and the Contracts & Pricing Government Price Reporting team. This includes providing detailed reporting to the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) auditors and/or designees in support of CMS's audit of all Medicare Part D programs.

Ensures that any and all variances or data integrity issues are documented, analyzed for impact, and communicated to Contract and Pricing Management.

Performs a variety of ad hoc reporting related to individualized requests for Commercial and Medicare Part D contracts.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of business experience required, or 6+ years of business experience required, in the pharmaceutical industry strongly preferred. 

Strong Excel and Analytical skills

Ability to think through how decisions will impact Takeda, customer and stakeholders prior to execution.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Must demonstrate excellent organization and time-management skills.

Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks in a matrix environment.

U.S. Base Salary Range:

67,900.00 - 106,700.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location. 

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives.
