The Langley Fulfillment Centre (referred to as the Langley Campus and consisting of two buildings) will be the incumbent’s home work location.

 

• Langley Fulfillment Center (LFC): 8521 198A Street, Langley, BC, V2Y 0A1

• 86th Avenue: 19760 86 Avenue, Langley, BC, V2Y 1Z5

 

The incumbent may be required to work at other lower mainland warehouse locations, based on operational needs, that include the following worksites. Travel required, as needed.

 

• Hopcott: 7510 Hopcott, Delta, BC, V4G 1B6

• Agar: 4551 Agar Drive, Richmond, BC, V7B 1A3

 


Job Summary:

The Receiver is responsible for performing a variety of stores duties such as shipping and receiving, filling requisitions, unpacking, checking, storing and distributing supplies/goods.  May operate a forklift and/or pallet jack within departmental guidelines to perform warehouse duties.

Duties/Accountabilities:

1.    Receives goods by unpacking, inspecting and verifying the number of items delivered; signs delivery documentation and matches goods with packing slip; checks invoices against orders and goods received; notifies appropriate sources of discrepancies or damaged goods.

2.    Assembles, issues and delivers/ships goods as per pick lists, requisition requests, delivery documentation or for return of damaged goods to suppliers.

3.    Sorts and stores items on shelves, cleans and rotates supplies according to established procedures.

4.    Performs related clerical duties and computer data entry with respect to information on supplies received/delivered.

5.    Transports stock and materials to all areas of the facility by methods such as operating material handling equipment including but not limited to forklifts and pallet jacks.

6.    Maintains warehouse area in a clean and orderly condition according to established warehouse safety standards and CSA guidelines by performing duties such as removing wasted cardboard and shrink wrap from assembly lines.

7.    Performs physical inventory counts as requested.

8.    Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education, Training and Experience

Grade 12 plus one (1) year’s recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

•    Ability to operate related equipment.
•    Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
