Job Description: 
Responsible for the proper receipt, marking and storage of all inbound ingredients, packaging and supplies. Responsible for keeping production supplied with all ingredients and packaging. Must be able to read, understand, and compare product specification sheets and Certificates of Analysis.  Must be able to count accurately.  Perform inspections and maintain accurate records as required by ISO and SQF.  Keep yard & warehouse orderly and clean; ensuring appropriate and prompt cleanup of spills.   Basic computer knowledge needed, particularly for SAP using bar code scanner labeling system.  

Required skills & experience:  
•    Excellent lift truck skills necessary 
•    General Warehouse knowledge with the ability to learn quickly  
•    Must be able to lift up to 50 lb. bags of ingredients & packaging on a regular basis 
•    Warehouse lot code rotation
•    Sound Mathematical skills, Calculator 
•    Maintain accurate documentation
•    Perform other duties as assigned
•    Ability to climb stairs

Safety Shoes:  Hard toed          Hearing Protection:  Required      

 Work Conditions:
1)    8-12 Hour shift. Will receive 2 fifteen-minute breaks and one-half hour break. Overtime is required.
2)    Environment – Noise levels will be minimal to moderate.  The distribution center is not air conditioned and high velocity fans are the main source of cooling.  Lighting is sufficient. There is a possibility of slippery footing.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
