Receiver
King's Seafood Company
The Receiver facilitates floor operations by receiving incoming product, maintaining storage of all product and preparing all outgoing pallets. The Receiver is responsible for a majority of the non-finfish product that moves throughout the plant daily.
Once hired, you will be trained in your area of expertise to ensure your capability and understanding of safety and sanitation. You will be trained on our plant standards and you will contribute and excel in a team service environment. You will be responsible for following all company standards and guidelines, and performs opening, on-going, and closing side-work duties
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
+ Minimum of 18 years of age
+ Ability to communicate in verbal and written English
+ High School graduate
+ Knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment, specifically forklifts and pallet jacks
+ Forklift Certified
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
+ Responsible for handling merchandise carefully ensuring goods are loaded into trucks in a safe and logical order
+ Complete all necessary paperwork for each delivery
+ Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and report any maintenance problems to manager
+ Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned station and service areas
+ Interact in courteous and professional manner with co-workers and supervisors
+ Report to supervisor before leaving duty
+ Follow maintenance program and cleaning schedule
+ Alert management of any safety hazards immediately
+ Work in an extremely cold environment (-10 F) for up to 4 hours daily
+ Ability to lift up to 60 lbs; 20-30 is typical
+ Ability to carry up to 150 feet
+ Ability to reach up to 6 feet; typical is 2-6 feet
