Position Summary

The returns associate serves a critical role in Connect Americas’ day to day business function. The person in this role processes a large quantity of received Medical Alert devices and ensures that the incoming inventory is handled safely and efficiently in a warehouse environment.  New and returned equipment as well as literature and accessories will be received.   Returned equipment will be refurbished.

Responsibilities and Duties

Check received goods for accuracy and ensure that the general incomings and outgoings within a warehouse are handled efficiently. Record receipts within Microsoft Dynamics.Assist in unloading trucks and determining safe ways of stacking and retrieving items in a safe manner Determine storage areas for incoming shipments and allocate appropriate space within the warehouseAssist in physically moving incoming items to designated storage areas Record damaged or defective items and replace them according to company policiesMaintain records of returned devices-process within the systemPerform other assigned duties and tasks necessary.        This may include but is not limited to prepping paperwork and boxes, programming units and shipping orders to clients.

High School diploma or G.E.D. certificate Detail orientedAbility to multi-task, prioritize and manage time while ensuring accuracy of work through attention to detailUnderstand quality standards for work and represents company in a positive lightAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamKnowledge of MS Office Suite, Internet, and web toolsAbility to set goals and meet deadlinesAbility to accept direction, positively respond to urgent task requests, and ability to prioritize multiple projectsMust be able to remain in a standing stationary position for sustained periods of timeMust be able to remain in a sitting stationary position 50%Must be able to regularly position self to lift or package totes or boxes at flow levelMust be able to consistently inspect and prepare small details of company devices, and perform regular repetitive movements of the wrists, hands and fingers
