**Job Title: Warehouse Associate - Receiving Department**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our receiving department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading containers by hand, ensuring all processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
**Responsibilities**
+ Process orders according to priority set by the Group Lead to meet customer requirements.
+ Receive, pick, package, and label shipments according to Distribution SOPs.
+ Utilize picking carts or powered industrial trucks to locate materials and fulfill orders within the Distribution Center.
+ Complete paper documentation for packing and shipping hazardous chemicals.
+ Maintain good housekeeping and keep inventory neat, clean, and orderly.
+ Verify proper storage conditions of products and notify the Group Lead of any inventory issues such as expired products, breakages, or out-of-stocks.
**Essential Skills**
+ High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
+ Ability to work independently and possess problem-solving abilities.
+ Capability to constantly stand and move around the department.
+ Frequent walking, stooping, bending, and reaching.
+ Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
+ Ability to lift, carry, pull, and push up to 40-50 lbs frequently and 75 lbs occasionally with or without accommodation.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ Ability to read and write in English.
+ Willingness to stay until all orders are processed.
+ General warehouse experience preferred, particularly in packaging.
**Work Environment**
The role is based in a distribution center for scientific equipment, primarily sent to schools, hospitals, and medical labs. The facility operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with a team of about 120 employees split into receiving, picking, and shipping departments.
