The Opportunity
As a Receiving Clerk, you will review and process incoming paperwork for waste materials received at our facility, making sure everything meets regulatory requirements and company procedures.
1st Shift Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM
Key Job Responsibilities Follow all regulations, standards, and internal policies, to ensure Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance and promote a safe and environmentally responsible workplace. Check incoming paperwork for waste shipments to ensure all details are correct. Enter shipment details into a computer system, including descriptions of waste and relevant codes. Create labels for waste containers using the computer system. Work with the Customer Service team to fix any issues with shipment paperwork. Process bulk waste deliveries and prepare rejection paperwork if needed. Keep organized files of shipment documents, both digital and physical. Scan and upload billing documents and shipment records to the EPA/E-manifest system. Update information in the management system as required. Sign shipment documents to approve truck departures and send copies to the right people. Help with other tasks as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent experience. Comfortable using technology and computer systems. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Basic math skills. Ability to read and follow standard operating procedures, training guides, and operational documents. Knowledge of DOT and RCRA regulations is a plus. Experience with SAP is a plus.
