StampTech Fasteners TM Division Description:

The ITW StampTech Fastener Division serves the major OEMs and Tier suppliers in the North American automotive market.  The division supplies stamped metal fasteners and engineered fastener assemblies that leverage our deep-draw stamping technologies.  The annual revenue for the division is approximately $160M.  Locations include Gallatin, TN, Lexington, KY & Naugatuck, CT.

Job Description

The Receiving Clerk is responsible for verifying all incoming freight, completing receiving transactions, completing quality testing and assisting with freight put aways. This role will also support the unloading of inbound/outbound freight when necessary and perform a variety of administrative tasks including data entry, filing and scanning documents.

Key Responsibilities

Understands, follows, and enforces all established safety, health, and Company policies, procedures, and recognized practicesPerform Dimensional Layouts (Keyence Dimensional Testing Equipment)Conduct measurements with handheld gauges (calipers, micrometers, thread gages)Receive and verify components from multiple suppliersPerform a variety of administrative duties including, but not limited to, data entry, filing, and scanning documentsOperate stand-up lifts and fork trucks to move products to and from appropriate work areasCrosstrain with department co-workers to increase the knowledge, flexibility, and efficiency of the overall teamMaintains equipment including daily inspectionsContributes to team effort by focusing on continuous improvement and success for the entire teamAll other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements

3 years in a manufacturing experienceForklift operation experience is requiredExperience in manufacturing processes, requirements and techniquesMust possess organizational skillsProficient in computer system in MS Office suite of products and production planning systemExcellent written and verbal communication skills requiredAbility to plan, organize, and implement with attention to detail
