Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Receiving Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for verifying incoming shipments, accurately documenting receipts, and ensuring all products are properly labeled. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and excellent communication skills to maintain compliance and operational efficiency.

ResponsibilitiesVerify incoming shipments against orders and packing slips.Confirm compliance status approvals are in place to process receipts.Use the ERP system to accurately transact and record receipts.Maintain a high level of attention and detail for all receiving processes.Ensure all products are properly labeled.Document any discrepancies or damage and contact appropriate personnel.Process receivers and stage products for delivery to the appropriate departments.Label hazardous materials upon receipt and notify the EHS team with any problems or questions.Ensure incoming, outgoing, awaiting action from personnel, and RMA items are separated and managed daily.Communicate with supervisory personnel when issues occur, or communication has not been resolved within DM metrics (24 hours).Report operational problems, equipment breakdowns, and any safety hazards to supervisory personnel.Follow all receiving work instructions and inform supervisory personnel when the instructions are outdated or no longer applicable.Follow 5S principles to maintain organized housekeeping of all goods and storage areas.Present SQDIP expectations for receiving metrics and problem-solving efforts when results are not met.Essential SkillsProficient in inventory management and ERP systems.Experience using a pallet jack and RF scanner.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Excellent communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsCustomer service mindset.Warehouse knowledge.Experience in shipping and receiving.Packaging experience.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

You will be working with Pantone processes and designs, focusing on custom ink colors for the graphics and textiles sectors. This includes dying, cutting, packing, and shipping textiles in custom colors. Additionally, you will be involved in creating, testing, and mixing custom ink, as well as producing, cutting, and assembling color books. The work environment emphasizes organized housekeeping and adherence to safety protocols.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlstadt, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
