Job Overview:  

Responsible for providing clerical support in the distribution center warehouse.

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:   

Communicates frequently with supervisor to alert the status of on-going operations pertaining to the incumbent's area of responsibility. Performs various Logistic Department related functions and assign­ments in an accurate and timely manner, as required by the circumstances and/or by the supervisor. Assists other department personnel in the performance of work activities when peak work load required during absences of facility personnel. Performs inventory cycle counts daily. Consistently performs slot and reserve verifications. Enters data into the Inventory/Receiving system. Assist the Manager/Coordinator with studies and projects. Participate in reclamation and recoup of warehouse damage.

 Job Requirements:   

Excellent Customer Service Skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office – specifically Excel. Prior warehouse clerical experience. High School Diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in Inventory Control is a plus. Ability to work in temperatures of 35 degrees for extended periods of time. Need to be certified or to get certified on a pallet jack. Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available

Sales Positions Only: For sales positions that are commission-based, the above range is an estimate of total potential commission-based compensation during an associate’s first year, but UNFI offers an introductory period minimum of $680 per week. After the introductory period, as a 100% commission-based role, there is no set salary. UNFI’s commission plans are uncapped and average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved, among other factors.
