Receiving Dock Clerk
DescriptionEssential Duties And Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Receives in all deliveries and reconciles to invoice or packing slips and documents received goods. Processes all outgoing freight. Responsible for the cleanliness and general maintenance of the receiving dock. Responsible for the organization of the warehouse. Verifies incoming requisitions and delivers to various departments in a prompt manner, obtaining signatures and returning signed delivery copies to the warehouse and purchasing department for updating and filing. Exhibits a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow employees. Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job has no supervisory responsibilities. Mathematical Skills Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
