Receiving Inspector
**Job Title: Receiving Inspector** **Job Description** A valve manufacturing company is in need of a Receiving Inspector. The Receiving Inspector will be responsible for supporting the receiving functions on a daily basis. The first half of the day will be spent supporting the operations team, and the last half of the day will support customer deliveries. **Responsibilities** + Place incoming material into Arrived Status in MRP system. + Confirm part quantity matches PO quantity. + Inspect parts to Engineering documents standards and specifications. + Receive purchase orders into the MRP system once parts are verified as acceptable. + Complete First Article Inspections as required. + Complete NCR’s for non-conforming material. + Work priorities when notified to support customer and/or production needs. + Work with Quality Engineer and Quality Analyst as needed. **Essential Skills** + 1 year experience in quality control. + Experience in reading blueprints and using micrometers and calipers. + High School diploma or GED. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + MS Office experience required. + Working knowledge of MRP system, IFS is a plus. + Knowledge of the valve, casting, machining, and PCB industry is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and development.
