As a Receiving/Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties. This role will involve receiving and preparing materials, processing receipt of all inbound items, logging them systematically, and maintaining inventory of shop supplies.

Duties and Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Unloading and loading shipments with UPS, FedEx, USPS, and other carriers.Verifying deliveries against purchasing and shipping documents.Visually inspecting packages for damages, discrepancies, or hazardous warnings.Verifying and notating all required information to complete receiving paperwork.Corresponding with Purchasing to rectify discrepancies.Processing receipts into Deltek Costpoint ERP system. Scanning and filing Shipping and Receiving documentation.Creating and applying Hazmat and Material Traceability labels for applicable products. Preparing packages for outbound shipments including packaging and completion of shipping documents in detail.Process outbound shipments using proper shipping methods and adhering to Federal Regulations.Maintain inventory for consumable shop supplies.
Required Skill/Abilities:
Ability to exercise good judgment with minimal oversight.Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook).Must be detailed oriented and have good communication skills.Ability to perform tasks that may require the use of a hand truck, forklift, or other material handling equipment.Strong interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of UPS and FedEx online services.Hazmat Experience with knowledge of MSDS/SDS.Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.

May be exposed to changing weather conditions (i.e., article or aircraft testing operations).Must be able to pass and maintain ‘pass’ status on OSHA-approved Pulmonary Fitness Test (PFT) in order to wear a respirator for prolonged periods of time.Vision at close distances and the ability to adjust focus for prolonged periods (i.e., computer screen).Ability to remain sedentary or stationary for prolonged periods of time.
