Responsibilities:

• Monitors and observes the movement of goods entering and exiting the facility, responding to inventory-related concerns from staff, vendors, and management.
• Conducts routine inspections of inventory storage areas at scheduled and random times to ensure proper organization and security.
• Ensures that all inventory storage areas are properly secured, and that inventory is stored according to safety and organizational protocols.
• Responds to inventory discrepancies, product damages, theft, or loss, documenting details, notifying management, and maintaining accurate records and reports.
• Provides security oversight and ensures proper inventory management during special events or programs.
• Enforces all inventory control procedures and ensures compliance with facility rules and regulations regarding product handling and storage.
• Identifies and addresses any safety hazards or risks within the inventory or receiving areas.
• Performs light maintenance duties related to inventory storage, such as replacing locks, adjusting shelving, or conducting light repairs to storage equipment.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance for all scheduled inventory management activities.
• Assumes other inventory-related duties as required to support overall facility operations.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands:
Regularly stands, walks, talks and hears. Regularly uses hands. Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches, pushes, pulls, reaches with arms and hands. Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.

Environment/Noise:
Regularly works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.

Certificates/Licenses:
Driver’s License, CPR and First Aid Training.

Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
