Role Summary Oversee all of receiving, and supervise the receipt of all in-bound/outboundproducts with accuracy and speed.Key Relationships All vendors, customers, and team members related to Burris LogisticsSupervisoryResponsibilitiesSupervise all receiving team members and provides guidance to any othersworking within area of responsibilityKey Responsibilities ● Supervise, train and mentor team members● Responsible for ensuring proper product temperatures are reviewed,validated, maintained and documented with date, code and count in WMS(warehouse management system) from arrival at dock until put away,ensuring quality of products is never compromised● Ensure trucks are unloaded properly and safely● Ensure all pallets are tagged and recorded appropriately● Must ensure the accurate location of product and protection of the same isadhered to by all employees● Help control the OSHA Incident Rate (OIR) and Lost Time Incident Rate(LTI) by monitoring sanitation, safe working conditions, ensuring safetypolicies are followed, holding pre-shift meetings and proper usage ofmaterial handling equipment● Monitor/audit daily for GMP, COOL procedures (Country of OriginLabeling), HAACP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and other foodsafety guidelines● Complete and file error and exception walk through template, pre-shiftassignment and update template and equipment condition checklists● Ensure Emergency Contact list for team members and building conditionsare up to date Understand the Emergency Procedures, ensure they areaccessible and participate in update reviews● Check computerized time/attendance on a daily basis to verify teammembers have the proper time clock punches in the system● Ensure all team member forms for Time Adjustment, PTO requests, etc.are coordinated for staffing purposes and turned into HR timely forprocessing in the correct pay period● Account for any inventory losses/product shrink● Review and take action based on daily and weekly APT and Utilizationreports to ensure acceptable levels of performance are maintained● Ensures all paperwork (logs, driver bills, operational documents) are
In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $55,000.00.
