Compensation

The compensation target range for this role is:

$21.50 - $25.00

Job Summary

This position is Monday- Friday from 7:00am-7:30pm (with overtime hours as needed). This position objective will be to work alongside the Wholesale Asst Manager in the supervision of the Wholesale Shipping process, procedures, and associates. Including but not limited to SIFOT, DIFOT, Inventory Control, Quality, and Customer Excellence. This individual will also coordinate with Logistics & Transportation in the development of lean efficient wholesale shipping practices.

Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

Coordinate with Logistics & Transportation for shipping schedule for all outbound shipments. 

Supervise/perform picking, quality checking, loading, and systematic shipping of all outbound shipments.   

Coordination of and signing paperwork for loaded drivers/carriers. 

Supervise the loading of shipments into trucks. Assures compliance with workplace safety procedures. Limits access to loading docks by unauthorized individuals. 

Supervise the Inspection of shipments and ensure they are undamaged.  

Work with CSC team to do root cause analysis on shipping issues and errors. 

Provide verbal and documented coaching and corrective action when necessary 

Maintain & coordinate staffing needs including attendance tracking, training schedules, and overtime shifts where necessary 

Responsible for rejecting unsatisfactory trucks/trailers at time of shipping. 

Supervise the labeling process 

Maintain accurate records and assist with inventory control. 

Accomplishes warehouse and organization mission by completing related results as needed 

Other duties as assigned.  

 

 

Required Skills, Education, Experience: 

 

High school diploma or equivalent. 

Minimum of 1 year of experience working in and leading in a warehouse environment.  

Ability to operate PIT equipment (eg. forklift, reach truck, electric pallet jack, long tail)  

Ability to operate pallet jack and pallet stretch-wrapping machine.  

Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations  

Experience in reporting on key Inventory Control metrics  

Proficient in MS Office and ERP software  

Outstanding communication ability

ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like;  

moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments;  

communicating with others to exchange information.  

 

Physical activities may constantly include:  

remaining in a stationary position, often standing for prolonged periods;  

moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another;  

adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions;  

repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers;  

operating PIT machinery and/or power tools, depending on position;  

depending on position may include operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment; assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned
