What You’ll Do

The Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for ensuring that all scheduled Raw material/WIP/FG production is completed in a safe manner, meets quality requirements, and meets daily production targets. This individual will be responsible for providing solutions to issues that arise throughout the day, ensuring all assembly lines are operating efficiently with all the Raw Material and WIP. Also, this position needs to be hybrid also working with the shipping area, making sure we deliver on time product to the customer.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead training of team members in functions including safety, quality, shipping accuracy, and material movement.Maintain effective communication with a pre-shift & post-shift handoff to ensure seamless transitions.  Communicate with Inventory and Purchasing Team of any material issues. Adjust job dates based on updates received from the purchasing team based on supplier promise dates.Work with internal Teams to develop the materials strategy for each project and ensure it aligns with the overall goals of the business.Implement, execute, and monitor the materials strategy to ensure it meets the needs for the jobs to hit the OTD goals.Identify discrepancies within the system.Monitor and track inventory levels on hand using PFEP and release stock jobs proactively to maintain inventory levels.Assist with break/lunch coverage if needed, determine by shift supervisor.Ensure all SAP transactions are completed correctly & in a timely manner.Provide meaningful & timely feedback to all teams & levels of the organization.Perform other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or GED preferred. Excellent leadership skills with minimum of two years prior demonstrated experience in safety, quality, delivery and cost.Ability to work independently, highly dependable, and professional in appearance and actionsGoal oriented and self-motivated with high energy level and ability to multi-taskExperience in material flow a plusExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively relate to all levelsConsistently demonstrates the highest level of personal ethical conduct, including near-perfect attendanceBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Powered Industrial Truck certification preferred; or must be willing to learnModerate to heavy lifting may be required (30 lb. max)Experience driving Powered Industrial Vehicle in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.Familiarity with SAP or other materials management systems preferred.Bilingual a plus
