Receptionist responsibilities
Welcoming visitors and solving their problemsManaging security and telecommunications systemsHandling queries and complaints via phone, email and general correspondenceTaking messages and ensuring they are passed to the appropriate staff member in timeManaging meeting room availabilityReceiving, sorting, distributing and dispatching daily mailPreparing vouchersHandling transcription, printing, photocopying and faxingRecording and maintaining office expensesHandling travel arrangementsCoordinating internal and external eventsManaging office inventory such as stationery, equipment and furnitureOverseeing office services like cleaners and maintenance service providersAssisting the HR team with recruitment, onboarding and termination processesMaintaining safety and hygiene standards of the reception areaReceptionist skills and qualifications
