Job Description
The primary purpose of this position is to perform duties necessary to the smooth, day-to-day operation of the The Retreat Skilled Nursing reception desk, PRN or as needed.
Specific Duties include:
+ Assemble admissions packets, marketing brochures, information packets, and making sure that stock of all three is maintained
+ File documents; make and distribute copies; format letters and documents; pepare mail merges for large monthly mailings
+ Complete credit card reconciliation for assigned departments
+ Order office supplies for departments, as needed
+ Answer the telephone and transfer calls to the appropriate department
+ Maintain day book with necessary information to keep other shifts informed
+ Monitor emergency intercom system and respond to all emergency calls from residents, as well as fire alarms
+ Monitor radios
Requirements
+ Graduation from high school or GED preferred
+ One (1) year of business school or two (2) years experience in a similar position
+ Experience in office procedures and ability to operate various office equipment, including telephones, required
+ Knowledge of Office applications and the ability to learn new applications required
+ Ability to work with the public with an emphasis on interaction with the elderly required
+ CPR and First Aid certifications
