Receptionist
**Adecco is seeking a dedicated and professional Receptionist to join our team in Irvine, CA. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a proactive attitude. This role requires the ability to handle multiple tasks and manage a busy office environment effectively. While experience with escrow knowledge is a plus, it is not required. If this sounds like a position that you would be interested in, please read the summary and qualifications below.** **Type:** Temp to Hire **Work Hours:** Monday – Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM **Pay Rate:** $20 per hour **Remote/Hybrid:** 100% Onsite **Key Responsibilities:** + Greet and direct visitors in the office. + Operate a multi-line telephone system, answering incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate personnel. + Retrieve and forward voice mail messages to relevant staff. + Welcome on-site visitors, determine the nature of their business, and announce their arrival to the appropriate personnel. + Monitor visitor access and issue passes as required. + Update appointment calendars and prepare travel vouchers. + Handle payments for services and products. + Receive, sort, and route mail, and manage and route publications. + Maintain and operate fax machines, assist users, send faxes, and retrieve and route incoming faxes. + Create and print fax cover sheets, memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed. + Order, receive, and maintain office supplies. + Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and collating. **Qualifications:** + 1-2 years of related experience preferred. + Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. + Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. + Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. + Effective verbal communication skills and the ability to speak before groups of customers or employees. + Proficiency in basic math + Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables where only limited standardization exists. + Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem-solving situations. + Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; demonstrates group presentation skills. + Writes clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar; varies writing style to meet needs; presents numerical data effectively; able to read and interpret written information. + Balances team and individual responsibilities; exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views; gives and welcomes feedback; contributes to building a positive team spirit. **Physical Requirements:** + Occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel or crouch. + Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. + Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. **If this sounds like the position for you, please apply today with your up to date resume!** **Pay Details:** $20.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
