Receptionist
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Receptionist in Cambridge, Massachusetts. As a Receptionist, you will play a pivotal role in our organization's operations by managing inbound communication, maintaining organized records, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will also be tasked with administrative duties, including data entry and file management. Responsibilities: • Operate telephone switchboard, answer incoming calls, and direct callers to the appropriate personnel. • Conduct data entry tasks, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date. • Maintain an organized filing system for easy access to information. • Perform general administrative duties such as photocopying, faxing, and mailing. • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for various administrative tasks. • Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving complaints. • Perform receptionist duties, greeting visitors, and providing general information. • Maintain a tidy and organized reception area. • Assist in the organization and maintenance of office common areas. • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner. Requirements • Proficiency in managing inbound calls and providing exceptional customer service. • Familiarity with receptionist duties, including greeting visitors, answering inquiries, and directing calls. • Strong organizational skills, particularly in file management and office administration. • Experience with computer data entry, including numeric data entry. • Ability to perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook. • Demonstrated ability to maintain a neat, organized, and efficient workspace. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Demonstrable experience in an administrative office setting. • High level of professionalism, punctuality, and reliability. • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently. • Proven record of maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
