Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Receptionist in Wayne, Pennsylvania. This role operates within the beauty and wellness industry and requires a blend of administrative and customer service skills. The Receptionist will perform a variety of tasks, including managing client appointments, answering multi-line phone systems, and providing concierge services in a high-end salon environment. This is a workplace that values detail-oriented and highly organized individuals who can handle high volume tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Manage client scheduling using salon software, ensuring efficient booking of appointments.
• Provide concierge services, ensuring a positive experience for all salon clients.
• Handle administrative tasks, including ordering office supplies and products.
• Maintain an organized file system, making sure all customer records are updated and accurate.
• Use software like Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word to perform data entry tasks.
• Answer multi-line phone system, handling customer inquiries and resolving any issues.
• Assist the floor manager with administrative tasks as needed.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
• Utilize strong interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service.
• Support potential growth opportunities within the salon, including the possibility of transitioning to a floor manager role. Requirements
• Minimum of one year of experience in a receptionist role or similar
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience with data entry and organizing files
• Demonstrated ability in administrative assistance
• Familiarity with answering multi-line phone systems
• Experience providing concierge services is a plus
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
• Positive attitude and friendly demeanor.
