Do you have a background in reception? Our client in Hudson, NH is an international based company in the manufacturing industry and they are looking for a Front Desk Receptionist on a temp to hire basis. This role has come about due to their current receptionist moving into a new role within the company. We are looking for someone professional and with a good phone presence. In this role you will answer phone calls coming in(computer based phone systems, no actual phones), deal with mail and greet customers and check them in. This company is moving quickly and they would like to interview candidates ASAP and start someone quickly. Pay rate: $18/hr to $19.00/hr on the temp side, will increase when permanent. Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday throuhg Friday. Responsibilities
Greets all visitors to the office building
Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls; Provide basic and accurate information in person and via phone/email.Take messages. Note: Will be using a computer based system to answer calls coming in.
Ensure the reception area is clean and presentable
Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word
Must be proficient with working with spreadsheets
