Receptionist


Job Summary

As the first point of contact for our company, the Receptionist will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming experience for clients, visitors, and employees. This position involves a combination of front desk management, phone system operation, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and has excellent communication skills.


Essential Functions 

Greet and welcome visitors with a friendly and professional demeanorMaintain a clean and organized reception areaAnswer, screen, and direct incoming calls promptly and courteouslyAssist visitors with inquiries, provide information, and direct them to the appropriate contactsSchedule appointments and maintain calendars for meetings, events, and conference roomsAssist with general administrative tasks, including data entry and mail handling/distributionAddress customer inquiries and concerns to ensure a positive experienceCollaborate with IT and HR functions for new-hire onboarding as neededAssist with other general administrative duties as needed

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesCustomer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.Proficiency in using office equipment and basic software applications.Professional appearance and demeanorPrevious experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred.

Work Environment and Physical Demands (Edit the below if need be.)

In office environmentProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Education and Experience

High School graduation or equivalent is required.Experience in technology platforms, especially in Microsoft Office.
