Job Title: Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
Receives and routes incoming calls and greets visitors while maintaining a professional courteous manner with the public and employees.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Answer multi line telephone system, screen and direct calls, take and relay messages as needed.
• Responsible for enabling phone lines in the morning and rolling over phone lines during the evening.
• Provide information to callers per company policy.
• Greet persons entering organization and direct persons to correct destination or alert employees that they have a visitor.
• Handle general requests from the public and our customers.
• Monitor staff movements in and out of company property in order to distribute phone calls correctly.
• Mail/Deliveries
Responsible for postage meter
Running mail through meter
Adding postage to meter
Scheduling maintenance on the postage meter.
SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide general administrative and clerical support for all departments as needed.
• Prepare correspondence and documents.
o This may include Microsoft Word and Excel documents
