Title: Receptionist

Salary Range: $33.65 / hour
Position Summary:
The Receptionist will assist in all office administration and operational aspects of Nexstar’s New York corporate office. Responsible for ensuring a professional and engaging environment for staff and guests.
Responsibilities:
Front Office management – day-to-day guest experience and office activities as first point of contact. greeting and directing visitors, clients, staff and vendorsSecurity access for visitors and staffMaintain all freight elevator access through camera systemMail and Overnight shipping oversight – both incoming and outgoing shipments making sure staff receives all deliveries promptlyConference Rooms – keeping tidy, chairs pushed in, TVs on during day and off in evenings, helping with TV equipment and working with IT when support is neededCopy Rooms – keeping all 4 Copy rooms stocked, organized and contact Canon service when issues ariseKitchens – keeping kitchens stocked and cleaned and inventory of what needs to be ordered monthlyWork with local IT dept on staff needs and ticketsAbout you:
Bachelor’s degree preferredMinimum 3+ years of administration/office management experienceAbility to multitaskExceptional written and verbal communication skillsTeam player and solutions-oriented Excellent interpersonal skillsStrong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environmentAttention to detail and problem-solving skillsProficient in Microsoft Suite and related office applications and exhibits an aptitude for learning new software and systemsHands on experience with office machines (e.g. fax machines, scanners, printers)Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate professionally with colleaguesAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing prioritiesAdditional Information

The job may require from time to time lifting heavy objects and require light cleaning.
