Job Title: Medical Receptionist

Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and reliable Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients, both on the phone and in person. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to transition from retail or food service into an office environment, as we provide training to those with little to no office experience. There is potential for career advancement into roles such as an intake coordinator, billing specialist, or receptionist lead for individuals who demonstrate reliability and a trainable attitude.

ResponsibilitiesServe as the first point of contact for patients, both on the phone and in person.Answer multi-line phones and transfer calls to the appropriate parties.Handle an average of 40 incoming calls a day and make outbound calls to schedule follow-up appointments.Schedule appointments using EPIC system.Utilize Outlook and Word for daily tasks.Assist with routine clerical duties, such as scanning and filing.Essential SkillsCustomer service experienceFriendly and welcoming demeanorAbility to navigate and learn new computer systems easilyAdditional Skills & QualificationsReceptionist or administrative experience is a plusMedical experience is advantageousWork Environment

The Medical Receptionist will sit at the front office. The role involves working with another receptionist and rotating between two different locations. The position is a full-time role with hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00
