Title: Receptionist
Location: 825 E. Douglas, Wichita, KS 67202
Salary: $19/hr
Hours: 7:30am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday

What Will I Be Doing?
Here are just a few things you can expect to do daily:
Greets callers and directs them to the appropriate colleague.
Answers telephones professionally and courteously within two rings and refers call to proper colleague for response.
Maintains conference room and equipment scheduling.
Assists in responsibility of opening and sorting mail and stamping all mail to indicate date received.
Maintains files for colleagues’ faxes and expenses and ensures correct colleague receives promptly.
Keeps office phone extension list up to date ensuring proper and timely distribution to colleagues.
Maintains manuals of information to enable increased productivity in time management skills.
Assists other colleagues in folding and stuffing of bulk mailings.
Orders sodas and water for the office.
Orders name plates for new colleagues.
Assists IT by creating access security cards for colleagues.
Performs special projects and duties as assigned
Assists with ordering supplies.
Ability to be cross trained to cover other office positions
Maintain general office cleanliness

Minimum of 1-3 years of previous Front Desk / Receptionist experience, preferably in a service industry; prior experience supporting upper management.
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Excellent organizational and administrative skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and Internet applications
Excellent written and verbal communications skills with superior telephone manner
Must be attentive to detail, accurate, and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a high pressure, fast paced environment
Highly motivated and able to work independently with minimum direction
Good knowledge of office terminology, procedures, and equipment.
Working knowledge of basic computer software functions for performing office work.
Ability to meet the public and get along well with others.
Ability to type routine correspondence and reports.
Ability to understand and follow routine oral and written instruction.
Neatness of appearance.
Initiative and resourcefulness.
