Receptionist

We are seeking a Receptionist for our First Quality Baby Products location in Macon, GA. The purpose of this role is to oversee the reception area, provide administrative assistance to the organization, and assist with confidential affairs.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Greet visitors, guests and FQ team members with professionalism. Control visitor entrance by remotely opening the gate. Utilize visitor management system and lobby kiosk for checking in visitors.

Ensure visitor procedures are followed (visitor management system, safety equipment, badges, confidentiality agreements, etc.).

Create, distribute, and manage access badges, including those for full time employees, visiting employees, contractors, and external visitors.

Maintain Outlook calendars for conference rooms.

Ensure that the reception area and conference rooms are always clean and orderly.

Answer incoming calls, provide basic information, and transfer calls to the appropriate team members or departments.

Maintain a high regard for confidentiality.

Perform administrative duties as required, including but not limited to correspondence, reports, projects, sorting, filing, typing, and mailing.

Accept, sort, and distribute all incoming mail. Mail, receive and log packages via FedEx or UPS.

Make travel arrangements for employees using Concur Travel, order flowers for employees during times of bereavement, order and set up catered meals for meetings.

Order and manage office supplies and company apparel.

Manage charitable contributions.

Serve as liaison for the EH&S department for visitor compliance and training.  Observe all safety rules and use the proper safety equipment at all times.

Follow necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations/guidelines.

Qualifications and experience include:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

3+ years of administrative experience.

In addition, this position requires:

Advanced oral and written communication skills. Audiences include ownership, team members, visitors, and vendors

Excellent computer skills with standard knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Attention to detail and sense of urgency

The work environment is:

General office conditions with exposure to manufacturing floor

Hours are 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Physical Requirements include:

Normal mobility, manual dexterity, normal visual and auditory ability.

Pay is based on experience, but is in the $18-20/hour range. Pay schedule for this position is biweekly.
