Receptionist
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Receptionist in the Waste, Refuse & Environmental Waste Management industry, situated in Azusa, California, 91702, United States. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company, managing front desk duties such as answering phone calls, coordinating with visitors, and managing mail. Additionally, you will assist the Branch Manager with daily tasks and maintain the office's cleanliness and organization. Responsibilities: • Greet and assist customers, vendors, and personnel, providing detail oriented and friendly customer service. • Answer, screen, and transfer calls on a multi-line telephone system. • Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages. • Assist with the maintenance and ordering of office supplies and office equipment services and repairs. • Ensure cleanliness and order in the supply room, conference area, kitchens, and front office. • Edit documents and letters for staff as requested and maintain the calendar of the conference room. • Create engaging industry-related social media posts for the company’s LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook accounts. • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned by the Branch Manager. • Set up digital business cards for designated employees. • Process incoming and outgoing email correspondence and organize files. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Receptionist or in a similar role. • Proficient in answering and managing a multi-line phone system. • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries and complaints professionally. • Experience in data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. • Excellent email correspondence skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally. • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with team members and clients in a respectful and positive manner. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word is required. • Experience in organizing files, maintaining records, and managing information effectively. • Ability to schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings efficiently.
