Front Desk and Customer Service Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a Front Desk and Customer Service Specialist to provide exceptional service to our visitors and customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting visitors, managing telecommunications, directing calls and emails, and ensuring smooth order processing. This role is perfect for someone who is organized, computer-literate, and enjoys interacting with people.

ResponsibilitiesGreet, welcome, and direct visitors appropriately.Notify company personnel of visitor arrivals.Maintain security and telecommunications systems.Direct calls, emails, and faxes to the appropriate parties.Maintain and update employee and department directories.Process orders and provide stock quotes upon request.Resolve customer issues efficiently.Issue and process Stock Return Material Authorizations.Essential SkillsProven experience in front desk, customer service, or administrative support roles.Strong communication skills and the ability to be the face of the office.Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).Ability to organize tasks, manage data entry, and schedule appointments.Capable of answering emails and phone calls professionally.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in customer service and greeting guests.Knowledge of order processing and resolving customer issues.Work Environment

You will be working in a quiet office space away from the factory. Our client is a global manufacturer of mechanical springs and related products, with a history dating back to 1918. The company is ISO 9001 certified and headquartered in Brooklyn, NY, with multiple locations across the United States and internationally. The work schedule is 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with no weekends required. Friendly and supportive coworkers create a positive work environment. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.50/hr.
