Receptionist
Description We are in search of a Receptionist to join our team in the non-profit/healthcare industry based in CHICAGO, Illinois. In this role, you will handle front desk support, manage inventory, coordinate conference rooms and handle a multitude of administrative tasks. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. The hours of this position are 11am-7pm Responsibilities: • Provide front desk support, including greeting evening classes and answering inbound calls • Manage inventory by keeping track of supplies, liaising with the logistics person, and ensuring supplies are replenished when running low • Handle a significant amount of mailing and coordinate the use of conference rooms • Operate office equipment such as fax machines and printers, and utilize Microsoft Office Suite for various tasks • Engage in customer service activities including processing customer credit applications and maintaining accurate customer records • Use your skills in answering multi-line phone systems, data entry, and email correspondence to ensure smooth operations • Use Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word to organize files and schedule appointments • Occasionally lift items weighing 25-30 lbs. Requirements • Proficiency in managing and directing calls effectively using a multi-line phone system • Demonstrated excellence in customer service to ensure satisfaction and maintain relationships • Ability to perform data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail • Experience in email correspondence, ensuring timely and detail-oriented communication • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with diverse groups of individuals • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis • Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook for managing emails and schedules • Knowledge of Microsoft Word for creating and editing documents • Experience in organizing files, both physical and digital, for easy retrieval and record-keeping • Ability to schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings efficiently TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
