Description Overview: Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Receptionist for a contract position within a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities: + Greet patients and visitors warmly upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. + Answer and route incoming phone calls, addressing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and directing calls to the appropriate personnel. + Manage patient appointment scheduling using electronic medical record (EMR) systems (e.g., Cerner, Epic). + Verify patient information and insurance details, ensuring accurate data entry. + Handle check-in/check-out procedures, including collecting necessary forms, co-pays, and signatures. + Maintain and update patient records with strict adherence to privacy regulations (HIPAA compliance). + Communicate effectively with healthcare staff, patients, and insurance providers to coordinate administrative needs. + Assist with general office duties, such as filing, faxing, scanning, and managing correspondence.
