Receptionist/Administrative Assistant
*This position is eligible for a Spanish proficiency pay differential* SCHEDULE: Full-time ; Monday through Friday (8:30 am - 5:05 pm) and every other Saturday (8:30 am - 12:05 pm). SCOPE: The primary responsibility of this position is to help deepen customer relationships and improve customer service as well as provide administrative support to the branch staff. This position is responsible for greeting and directing walk-in customers in a friendly, professional manner and to answer all in-coming calls. ACCOUNTABILITIES: Receptionist/Lobby Management: (40%) + Greet walk-in customers in a friendly, professional manner, and direct them to the proper department. Have an understanding of bank products and services in order to pro-actively assist customers with their banking questions. Manage lobby traffic by getting all customers names, product/service need or concern and directing them to appropriate person or department. Answer all incoming calls, directing them to the proper department or person. Occasional support will also be given to the Contact Center to answer and direct calls throughout the organization. Administrative Support: (30%) + This position will support the Branch Manager as well as other bank staff with administrative duties. This will include, but is not limited to, typing letters and memos, scheduling appointments, filing, generating reports, and project coordination. + This position will be responsible for maintaining appearance of the lobby, coffee area, and working with various vendors to maintain adequate supplies. This person will assist in planning and organizing office functions such as luncheons, office parties, decorating of bank lobby, holiday events, etc. Other Duties: (30%) + As a part of the overall team of bank employees, the receptionist may be requested to assist in the teller line during lunches and any other time the teller line could be short of staff due to vacations or other absences. The receptionist will also be requested to assist with bank activities and events in their respective branch, and any other duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: + High school degree or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. + This position requires skills needed in a typical office environment. This includes computer skills, communication skills, as well as utilization of office equipment. + Requires working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. + Previous customer service and clerical experience preferred.
