We have a fantastic vacancy for a Receptionist / HR Administrator to join our team at the Balclutha site. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service support. Your responsibilities will include managing the onboarding process for contractors, assisting with site security-related queries, and handling administrative tasks to ensure efficient office operations. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will support the HR team with various administrative duties and contribute to the overall success of the site.
This is a permanent part-time position.
You will:
Manage incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate recipients.Welcome all visitors and contractors on site, ensuring they are inducted accordingly.Issue and maintain records for swipe card security access and provide PPE gear as required.Support security projects and initiatives as needed.Maintain stationery and office supplies, including kitchen supplies, fruit, milk, and cereals.Support the HR team with managing the HR inbox, compiling new starter and parental leaver toolkits, and updating company organizational charts.Assist with recruitment processes, including phone-screening, booking interviews, and pre-employment checks.Provide HR administrative support and assist with delivering HR initiatives and tools.Create, maintain, and receipt all reception-related purchase orders for HR, Health & Safety, and Site Overheads.Coordinate catering orders and set up stations for events.Support digital systems projects and archiving files when needed.Ideally, you will have:
Secondary NCEA level 3 or equivalent.Qualifications in Business Administration/Human Resources or equivalent.Experience in a similar Administration / Reception role.Experience or interest in Human Resources function/administration is preferred.Professional, friendly demeanor with strong presentation skills.Positive attitude with the willingness to assist both internal and external stakeholders.Ability to work well with employees at all levels.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).Exposure to SAP is an advantage.Danone is a leading global food & beverage company dedicated to bringing health through food to as many people as possible.
