JOB SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of the Cabana Receptions is to make cabana reservations and welcome guests to the pool complex. Assist with any and all customer needs; maintain cleanliness of the pool deck i.e. rafts, dirty towels and bathrooms. Upsell and book daybeds and cabanas. Retail sales i.e. raft, sundries, magazines and newspapers. To protect the glass items and unauthorized items entering the pool complex. Follow and maintain all SNHD rules and regulations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
All Cabana receptionists will report to pre-shift briefing in full Uniforms.
The Cabana receptionist will familiarize themselves with the names of their guests and requested accommodations.
The Cabana receptionist will be responsible for making cabana reservations and up selling amenities for the pool
Ability to perform reaching and stooping motions repeatedly needed for cleaning and stocking work.
Ability to climb ladders as needed for obtaining items located on high shelves
Excellent customer service skills
Remains alert to all activity occurring within their assigned section of the pool area throughout their shift.
Treats customers with courtesy and respect at all times.
Remains appropriately groomed as stated in the departmental guideline's appearance code.
Notifies the manager immediately of any problems at the pool requiring any extra ordinary attention
(i.e., guest injury, guest employee conflict, etc.).
Ensures all guests follow pool rules (i.e., diving board safety, running, horseplay, etc.).
QUALIFICATIONS:
Able to carry 25-40 lbs.
Able to work in excessive heat for extended periods of time.
Ability to multi-task.
Excellent customer service skills.
Beverage Knowledge.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Fast paced environment, multiple tasks to be handled under time constraint. Must be able to handle a heavy business volume, and sensitive situations relating to staff and guest problems, in a timely manner
