**Job Description:** Greets customers, answers telephone calls, takes messages, and forwards calls. Distributes and explains paperwork or forms to customers. Provides clerical support to the office or department. Scope As a Receptionist you need to know how to Checking in and checking out guests, giving detailed explanation of packet information to guests and showing guests facility. Filling out required forms.Schedule patient appointments for visits, procedures, diagnostic tests, referrals and/or consultations. Answering telephone, including handling guests messages from callers. Cleaning kitchen, making coffee for guests- Keeping facility clean and orderly, includes cleaning guest rooms and all common areas- Doing laundry after guest check-out. Listening to guests about their conditions and feelings (if guest is patient), or those of loved ones in the hospital. Other duties such as checking computer for Daily Report information and e-mail, ordering supplies and services.
