The PositionAbout the Position:
Receive and greet visitors including customers, vendors, and employees from local and global locations. Direct visitors to the appropriate place or employee and answer general questions.
Issues visitor's badges as required and ensures arrival and departures have been logged accordingly.
Acquires and applies job skills, company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
Assignments are routine to semi-routine in nature. Works under supervision and receives detailed instructions on work assignments.
Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
● Build customer relationships by answering calls received on the switchboard and provide a friendly, courteous experience. Route calls to the appropriate destination and/or answer general questions.
● Provide a welcoming atmosphere by greeting visitors including customers, vendors, and employees from local and global locations and directing the visitor to the appropriate place or employee. Answer general questions as they arise.
● Maintain visit log and assist with courier services as necessary
● As requested, may participate in special projects that are clerical in scope.
Who you are:
● High school diploma or equivalent
● 1 year of previous business/office experience or related experience
● Basic computer skills
● Oral and written communication skills
● Previous experience utilizing a switchboard to answer and route calls
● Demonstrated experience handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
● Prior switchboard or customer-facing experience is helpful.
