**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** Review previous shift happenings with Operator to acknowledge any challenges and specifications for current operation. • Load 2.05” wide coil on machine • Use vision system coil map to recoil to specific footages for defect inspection, removal, & weld • Unload completed coil Read production orders, blueprints, to determine setup specifications, work sequences, product dimensions, and installation procedures. Work closely with Mill Hands and other operators to keep production flowing by identifying and gathering next material on the production schedule. Control and observe dial indicators to monitor, adjust and regulate speeds of machine mechanisms. Perform routine maintenance in between coils / preventative maintenance checks for top machine performance. Examine, inspect, and measure raw materials and finished products to verify conformance to specifications by creating samples for lab tests to ensure material is in spec meeting desired parameters both prior to and after completion off the annealing process. **Hard Skills** + Machine set-up + Troubleshooting equipment + Reading production orders and blueprints + Quality inspection and defect removal + Routine maintenance and preventative checks **Work Environment** The role is located in a manufacturing/production environment which includes industrial machinery, chemicals, input materials, and tools.
