Kforce has a client in Saint Charles, MO that is seeking a Reconciliation Accountant. Responsibilities * Monitor the general ledger for a portfolio of leased railcars by performing monthly key account reconciliations/analysis * Providing accurate and timely coding for invoices in accordance with internal reporting and US GAAP, working with cross functional departments to ensure completeness and accuracy * Complete monthly bank reconciliations * Posting Journal entries that cover a multitude of areas including but not limited to Cash, AP, AR, Fixed assets, Revenue and Expenses * Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries leasing business and assist with month-end close activities * Assist with researching, tracking, and resolving accounting issues and discrepancies * Develop/generate lease fleet reports from our system to perform month over month analysis * Maintain fixed asset subledger related to our lease fleet * Assist in balance sheet reconciliations including intercompany * Adhoc projects/analysis as required, including assisting with audit requests
