We're on the look-out for a Record-To-Report Process Manager to join Dyson Business Services (DBS). This particular business area will provide process and service excellence to support Dyson’s growth ambitions, with a goal of innovating and enhancing services over time to meet the changing needs of the business.
About the role.The RTR-Process Manager role offers an excellent opportunity to help shape and drive our Finance organization to the next level. This role will involve working with many functions within the organization and designing processes and leveraging technology that will be implemented globally.
In this role, you will report directly to the Record-To-Report Global Process Owner (RTR GPO), and your responsibility will be to design and implement best-in-class RTR processes and technology solutions. The goal is to design processes with adequate controls that are scalable and efficient to support the future business growth of our organisation.
This position is responsible for ensuring that internal and external reporting complies with IFRS, that processes operate with effective internal controls, and that all reporting deadlines and requirements are met.
The RTR SME will be responsible for:
Taking full ownership of global process design for sub-processes and implementation with a focus on providing value to the business, reducing process costs, and maximizing investment returns.Reviewing existing global processes, service deviations, and systems with a focus on simplifying and standardizing them.Working closely with various teams on digitalization and automation of the global processes.Gathering and documenting business requirements are in place.Supporting testing, implementation, and training as needed.Engaging stakeholders to adopt the globally standardized processes, with regional and local customization required for legal/tax compliance.Working with the RTR Operations, Controllers, various Business Functions, and Internal Controls teams to ensure all RTR processes have appropriate controls.Collaborating with IT and key stakeholders to leverage upgraded systems like S4 and ensure best practices in process redesign.Establishing clear and concise Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for processes, monitoring process effectiveness, and performing root cause analysis to ensure process performance meets expectations.Reviewing and signing off on Desk Top Procedures (DTP) on a regular basis.About you.You will be a self-starter with strong process design and modelling skills and keen attention to detail, alongside the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous goals. You will have experience collaborating with IT alongside key stakeholders to leverage upgrading systems like S4 while ensuring best practices in process redesign.
Experience:
University degree (Business / Finance / Economy / Management).7 or more years of experience within finance & accounting, including previous experience in a similar role in an international environment.Experience with S/4 HANA Finance module and its integration with another S/4 HANA module (MM, SD).Experience with Blackline solutions as admin role and workflow solution design would be an asset.Demonstrable experience in process mapping and visualization tools. Experience in Record to Report (RTR) process design, optimization, standardization, and improvements.Capability of directing the resolution of complex or unusual business problems.Ability to analyse financial and operating statistics and provide meaningful feedback.Technical knowledge of accounting, reporting, and analysis.Highly motivated, deadline-driven, and able to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing).Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with high-volume activities and changing priorities.Business partnering experience with different levels of stakeholders.Benefits and lifestyle:Financial:
