**Job Description**
This position is directly responsible for determining the acceptance of PSEO/Concurrent College Now program (College in the High school program) students into Riverland Community College using extensive knowledge of Minnesota State policy and procedures. Develops and implements a comprehensive communication plan to high school students, faculty, school counselors, and other appropriate school personnel regarding admissions, assessment, and registration. This position serves as the key Student Affairs contact person to area high schools participating in Riverland’s College Now (PSEO/concurrent College in the High School) program. In addition, this position is responsible for student record management, overseeing the document imaging (Perceptive Content) of archived student records for the Registrar, and supporting the Registrar by making decisions based on college and division policies and guidelines.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Ability to interact and communicate professionally and tactfully with a variety of constituencies including students, school counselors, faculty, and staff.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook) and database systems.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
+ Ability to develop, modify, evaluate, and improve administrative office procedures and activities and guide the work assignments of student workers.
+ Ability to carry out administrative functions in a setting where supervision is not constant.
**Preferred Qualification**
+ Bachelor’s degree could substitute for 1 year of professional experience; an Associate’s degree may substitute for 6 months experience, or three (3) years of equivalent office work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
+ Experience with ISRS, ARSA, Web Communication, document imaging.
+ Experience with admissions, records, and registration terminology sufficient to review files and draft related documents and correspondence with accuracy.
+ Demonstrated high level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality of private data as well as the ability to use professional discretion when dealing with confidential matters and issues.
+ Knowledge of higher education policies and procedures related to student services.
+ Demonstrated skills in working under pressure, within time constraints, prioritizing activities, and initiating/completing multiple assignments and projects successfully.
+ Bilingual/multilingual fluent in Spanish, Somali, Karen, Anuak, Nuer, or other languages that reflect our student body, workforce, and communities.
+ Demonstrated experience working with multicultural and underserved populations.
