Records Clerk III (Deployable)

As a Aircraft Records Clerk III, you will catalogue and maintain our technical documentation. You'll be responsible for tracking and managing aircraft maintenance documents for medium or moderately-complex programs including log-pages, inventory records, technical documentation, and reports.

Must-haves:

High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 4 or more years of relevant experienceA higher level degree may substitute for experienceRelated experience may be considered in lieu of required educationExtensive knowledge working with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft word processing programsProgressive experience with scanning paper records into electronic recordsPractical knowledge and understanding  of computer systems General knowledge of time compliance itemsAbility to frequently travel outside the continental US, typically for extended periods of timeCurrent/ valid passport and be able to obtain a visa to travel internationallyAbility to meet current DoD and Combatant Command restriction requirements for deployed locationsAbility to deploy for a minimum of 90 days to various OCONUS operating locations.Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays and shift schedules as requiredThe ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Preferred:

Data entry/clerical experienceAircraft records database/ aircraft maintenance tracking software experienceBackground in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US MilitaryAbility to type 35 WPMFamiliarity with rotable and non-rotable aircraft parts certificates

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants.
